Electronic Arts, the biggest game publisher on earth, has acquired the rights to the Harry Potter series of books. Harry Potter, a series known for its dominance of the New York Times children's best seller list, will be making an appearance on PS2 and other platforms.
Electronic Arts, which makes popular games such as "FIFA 2000" and "The Sims," plans to develop computer and video games based on J.K. Rowling's fictional character, an aspiring teenage wizard named Harry Potter.
