A Collector's Edition for KISS Psycho Circus was recently announced. This version will come with a poster signed by the KISS band members, a strategy guide, autographs from the developers, and a copy of a back stage pass from the KISS Psycho Circus Tour.
Third Law Interactive and Gathering of Developers today announced the upcoming release of KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child Collector’s Edition for the PC. This limited-edition collector’s box includes a KISS poster signed by all four band members, a mini-strategy guide, special CD artwork autographed by the entire development team at Third Law Interactive, and a reprint of the official KISS back stage pass laminated from the Psycho Circus Tour. The Collector’s Edition game box features linticular 3D visuals of Todd McFarlane’s depictions of the Psycho Circus KISS characters juxtaposed with the famous original paintings of the band members that were featured on their four solo albums. Featuring fierce first-person action, fantastic creatures and a rockin’ soundtrack, KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child hits store shelves nationwide this month. KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child is being published by developer-driven computer and video game publisher Gathering of Developers and distributed by Take-Two Interactive’s Jack of All Games. A Dreamcast version being developed by Tremor Entertainment will be released in September.

“Die-hard KISS fans and McFarlane fans alike will love the Collector's Edition's incredible artwork and contents,” said Mike Wilson, CEO of Gathering of Developers. “It’s really a celebration of the brilliant collaboration of Third Law Interactive, KISS, and Todd McFarlane Productions on this remarkable game, which itself is destined to become one of the most sought after items in any of the groups’ catalogs.”

Storyline/Gameplay

Based on the rich world created by Todd McFarlane in his best-selling KISS Psycho Circus comic books, the game is set in a demonic world of mystery and horror. Player’s battle hideous freaks-of-nature spawned by the conception of the Nightmare Child, an evil being whose arrival has perverted the fabric of reality.

Gamers begin as mortals and progressively acquire the powers of The Elder, a supernatural being with the power and ability to destroy the Nightmare Child and save the universe from doom. The Elder, embodied by four alter egos, each based on the KISS characters (the Demon - Gene Simmons, the Starbearer - Paul Stanley, the Beast King - Peter Criss, and the Celestial - Ace Frehley), together prevent the unraveling the universe. Each KISS character represents a different type of game experience, with unique locations, realm bosses, challenges, weapons and powers. Players will blast their way water, earth, air, fire and nightmare realms by employing a variety of innovative weapons.
